When I first went gluten free Chebe mix was one of my staples. The more I started baking other less I relied on mixes. However a few month back a came across several Chebe mixes marked down to 99¢. The store was no longer carrying the item so they were priced to sell. I bought a bunch.
It’s super easy to mix up. Just need need a couple extra ingredients. And yes when I don’t plan on taking photos for a blog post this is how messy I am. The box says to make them as rolls which is how I normally make them.
But this time I also decided to use it as a base for a cheesy garlic bread. I took a bigger dough ball and flattened it almost like a pizza crust. I baked it with my rolls. Then I topped it with some room temp. butter, garlic salt and some sectarian garlic powder.
On top of that I added some shredded cheese, before putting it back in the oven so melt the cheese.
It turned out amazing. Riley loved it and has asked for it several times since. Having another way to use this mix means it will be making its way on to my pantry staple list.
