Just a short little friendly reminder that there can be hidden gluten anywhere at anytime .. In places that you don’t expect it.
Exhibit A. – The sugar jar at work
I work in a small office with just a handful of coworkers on a daily basis. They all know I’m gluten free. Yet without thinking a co-worker put a Saltine in the sugar. (Something about it keeps it from clumping..idk) Luckily I don’t drink coffee so I don’t use the sugar. But this is a remind that no matter how much they know you are gluten free it can still end up becoming cross contaminated.
